ADVENTURE @ HORT PARK

One day after our work, we planned to go to Hort Park for a scroll. But it was a Bad day, it started raining on our 1st few steps. But luckily we are not half way through the journey, as once you start you can't stop. I says that because there is only a few exits and bus stops are also located at the exit. Furthermore, there is not much shelter around. One thing both of us hate about this place is that, there are alot of mosquitoes.

Last Sunday, we finally had a chance to go there. we managed to walk from Alexandra Hospital to Harborfront centre. Haha.. A long way indeed. But it was fun. Nice greenery.

QUIZNOS SUB@ORCHARD CENTRAL

Yes! We had our dinner at Orchard Central again! We dine-in at Quiznos Sub which is almost similar to Subway however you are not able to choose your bread and vegetables. We had their most popular Sandwich, the mesquite chicken with bacon. The mesquite chicken was not bad however the chicken was too little and the sandwich was fill with onions which I hate the most. We also ordered their chicken soup which was damn salty, NEVER try it! Their double chocolate cookie tasted the same as Subway but a bit soft.

MOM BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

We celebrated my mother Birthday on friday at Jurong Point but her actual Birthday is on Tuesday 07/07/09. We went to the Soup restaurant for dinner which was recommended by me =D Dinner was good but the waiting time for the dishes to be served were very very long. A Birthday without a cake cannot considered a birthday celebration and so I brought a Oreo Cheese Cake at Bakerzin which was having a 50% promotion! The cake was very nice, not very sweet and it blended well with the bitter Oreo cookie. After that, we had our "Tea break" at the Old Town White Coffee, the ice milk tea is quite nice but a bit sweet and the toast bread was very crispy!. Now let me show you the photos...

SAMSUNG JET

FINALLY!!! I have changed my "calculator" handphone, this E61i has been with me for more than 2years, love it coz the functions are good but my Lao Po keep saying that it look like calculator =( After months of searching for a new handphone from Nokia 5300 to LG Arena, but in the end I end up with Samsung newly introduced handphone, Samsung Jet. The specification is pretty good, and the screen is very clear and sharp with 16M colour. There is Wifi (Most important criteria for me), bluetooth, FM radio, GPS, 5MP camera etc and it only cost me $100+ to get it with the help by MY LAO PO. THANK YOU LAO PO!!!.

TONKICHI@ORCHARD CENTRAL

Last wednesday, we had our dinner at Tonkichi again but this time round we had it at the new shopping mall at somerset, The Orchard Central. The restaurant is located at level 7, it was rather a small restaurant and now they are having a 10% discount. Overall the food taste the same at all the branches or even better. So do head down to Orchard Central to try it. And of course the view of the restaurant is way better than all the branches they had. My Lao Po and I are eager to try out other restaurants at Orchard Central so do look out for our entries =D

DINNER OUT MOVIE OUT

Last week we went to Junction 8 to shop. and we realised that we totally waste our trip there. we finish shopping at J8 within 30 mins. Haha. I am not exaggerating. We got really bored there so we decided to go AMK.

We went to try the ASTONS @ COFFEE SHOP. Its not a air conditioning place but the fan is blowing at us so we don really feel hot there. so don worry about going there during hot weather.

Later that week, my laogong's army friends ask him out for a movie, and i tag along. =) We watch the Night at the museum. We seriously find the movie not as good as the 1st one, and its plotless. =.=

Lazy to type. Let my pictures do the talking.

Last Saturday we went bowling and eating near my laogong house. ALL thanks to the shuttle bus.. haha. =x we had so many free rides. But i seriously comment about Jurong Point shuttle bus service. THEY DOES NOT COME IN ACCORDANCE TO THE TIMING GIVEN BY THE INFORMATION COUNTER. Waste our time waiting for the bus heading back home. In the end we miss the shuttle bus and have to take bus back home.

It was a great time. My laogong met up with his NS buddy. Finally my laogong is meeting his friend. =x sorry laogong to take up most of your time.
